This FAQ page is aimed at answering a few of the questions you may have about the Sight of Hand practice and osteopathic treatment. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions or concerns you. We are happy open to discussions over email or the phone to see if out treatment is right for you.
If you are looking for simple quick fixes for your pain, restricted movement, metabolic diseases, chronic disease, etc., this treatment is not right for you.
If you are looking for a journey into deeper understanding and new experiences of yourself, your body, and what it means to be human this may be right for you.

Appointments can take from 1 to 2 hours occasionally lasting over 2 hours.
I like to allow for as much time as is needed.
Please let me know if you have time constraints and I will adjust accordingly.
For the first appointment, bring a list and/or the actual medications and supplements you are using. A list of past medical history, traumas, and surgeries is also helpful if you have one.
Wear comfortable clothing
Download the applicable file and bring it with you completed.
The treatment is gentle. There are no fast or forceful inputs to your body. I will confirm with you before touching areas that may be sensitive or emotionally charged. It lasts for 1 to 2 hours occasionally going longer than 2 hours with some time afterwards to reintegrate. You lie comfortably on a treatment table similar to a massage table. During the treatment you may experience relaxation, visualizations, emotions, and various other somatic experiences in your body. Many people fall asleep during part or all of the treatment. Any and all experiences you have are welcome and discussion is encouraged at any time during the appointment. This type of Osteopathic treatment is safe for people with almost any health condition but please discuss with me before beginning.
